Year of 2008


To me year of 2008 is a year of " Zero reset".
when we write a program,
zero clear is an important act to make sure all the variable take its 
proper value.

anyways , zero reset is different.
when we do re-calculation we need zero reset.
it is needed to make sure everything went as it way.
to comfirm that the calulation was quite in good way.

to me 2008 was also some thing like that.
i did research. 
i did present them abroad.
i got job offer.

everything was in good process.
and everything need to be reset so that
we can go to the next stage as employee.

Working Visa

document needed

Working visa is a status showing that you are permitted to work in a country.
from April, i will work, and that mean i have to submit for the working visa.
anyways, there are many document needed.
and most of them have to bee made by our employer.

today i have asked my future employer to send me all necessary documents.
and i do hope i can apply the new status by early January.

My Mobile went crazy for few day

Today one of my friend got angry to me.
the reason is why i didn't answer the phone or the mail.
but actually i didn't get the phone nor mail.

What is the deal????

the problem is that my mobile went crazy for a while.
for sure, even my friend make a call in front of me,
my mobile still don't show any income call.

then after i realize the abnormal case,
i just restart my mobile.
then,what a surprise!
i got many miss calls and mails.
and the date was 19th.

so it mean my mobile went crazy since 19th December.
ohh my good.
sorry to those who ring me or mail me on that dead period.

Operating life of Intel Motherboard

Most of the Computing system used in my lab are assembled with Intel Motherboard.
The defect i found are the operating life of the graphic card.
actually after three or four years of usage, the graphic card become out of order.
it just suddenly stop transferring the signal to the monitor.

my personal pc also end up in the same situation.
yesterday, when i return home and turn on my pc,
nothing appear on monitor.

i am thinking of plugging new graphic card,
but i am still not sure weather it will work or not.
maybe i have to try.

Today dinner

This evening ,a senior, a colleague and i went to an Italian restaurant for dinner.
we had pizza , pasta after salad and followed with desert.
having pizza is quite a long time like one year.
actually last Christmas , some friends and i have had a pizza party.
and after that, i have never went to pizza restaurant.

anyhow,today pizza was quite good.
and the desert after a break , is also delicious.

the Last Tuition Fee

Being a self supported student is really hard.
i used to be a government supported student for years
but now i am a self supported student.
during the two years course ,
i have to pay many time the tuition fee and an entrance fee.
at last yesterday i paid the last tuition fee.

as i got half price discount for the whole two years,
i feel luckier than those who haven't granted the half price
discount but it still make me difficult to pay.

So at last, i pay all. and now what is need is to write the last thesis
and prepare for the graduation ceremony.

Itinerary to go to Oita from Toyohashi

During the new year day i wanna go back to Oita.
Oita is a prefecture in Kyushu island and it is
my second home town.
i live in Toyohashi four years the same to my inhabitant period
in Oita but i feel Oita is mostly my home town.

and in this new year occasion i would be happy to go back to Oita.
but it take much from Toyohashi to Oita.
here is some itinnery.

1.Shinkansen
By using Nozomi from Toyohasi-Hakata and
Sonic from Hakata-Oita.
we have to spend 26000YEN + 6000YEN = 32000YEN.

2.Night Bus
Night bus is also good itinerary.
Using bus , we need to use local train from Toyohasi-Nagoya
and long distance bus from Nagoya-Oita.
we have to spend 19800YEN + 2160YEN = 21960YEN.

3.Seishun 18 Kippu
one ticket cost 11500YEN and we can use 5 times(5 days).

anyways m still consider weather i will go to Oita or not.

Junior Presentation day

Today is the presentation day of two juniors of my lab.
it is started at 9:00AM , so i have to get up early.
but i am still at lab right now.

actually we have had a presentation practice hours ago.
frankly it took much time( from dinner time till now)
so the plan that i have to go to bed before mid night is absolutely
impossible for tonight.

hope i can wake up on time .

actually the bed time just changed.
it changed from night time to day time.
it is really bad cos day time i have to be in lab.

maybe i have to try to sleep well before mid night,

CalCuliX - Free static and dynamic elasto-plastic analysis tools

CalculiX is a package designed to solve field problems. The method used is the finite element method.

With CalculiX Finite Element Models can be build, calculated and post-processed. The pre- and post-processor is an interactive 3D-tool using the openGL API. The solver is able to do linear and non-linear calculations. Static, dynamic and thermal solutions are available. Both programs can be used independently. Because the solver makes use of the abaqus input format it is possible to use commercial pre-processors as well. In turn the pre-processor is able to write mesh related data for nastran, abaqus, ansys, code-aster and for the free-cfd codes duns, ISAAC and OpenFOAM. A vda CAD interface is available. The program is designed to run on Unix platforms like Linux and Irix computers but also on MS-Windows.

The CalculiX package was developed by a team of enthusiasts in their raw spare time. They are employees of MTU Munich, an Aero Engine manufacturer in Germany which granted the publication.

For a quick overview of the capabilities of CalculiX the results of an investigation of a turbo-charger are presented. The model was build from scratch with CalculiX and the compressor model together with an example input deck can be found in the distribution. The calculations were done to determine the burst-speed and the highest allowable rotational speed concerning low cycle fatigue. In addition the eigenfrequencies were calculated to determine possible resonances with the vanes. The following picture shows the rotor with the bearing housing and some vanes. The models are meshed with 20 noded brick elements with reduced integration. The right and left side of the disks are connected with each other by equations to simulate cyclic boundary conditions. Since version 0.92 cyclic symmetry frequency calculations are possible to calculate eigenvalues and mode-shapes for certain nodal diameters of a rotational symmetric volume based only on a segment. The compressor is made of casted aluminum alloy (AlSi - C355) and the turbine of a high temperature alloy (Inco 713C) and both are loaded by pure centrifugal force.

    unpredicted mail

    Yesterday i got a mail from old friend. Maki is a friend i met in Kumamoto years ago.
    Maybe 5 years ago. It was when i were a 3rd year student in Oita.
    After that, i have never met Maki. We keep contact by only new year card.
    Maki is going to graduate in March, the same to me, and will go to Tokyo for work.

    New Year season

    Xmas is so lonely.
    And after that, we will have a New Year.
    This year, i wanna go back to Oita , my previous school to see some friends and enjoy hot spring.
    I love Kokonoe. It is a place in western Oita prefecture near Fukuoka prefecture.
    During Near Year season, we can enjoy snow. And the most interesting is hot spring.Anyways,horse riding is either popular.
