Add Recent Comments:
here is how to add Recent comments to your blogger.
1.click on page element and add a HTML/Script
2. copy the following script and paste it.
3.change the XXXX to your blog name.
4.change the YYYY to your preferable number of comments to be displayed.
5. change the ZZZZ to your preferable length of the comments.

your instruction is order by updated. but how to change order by published date?
to order it by published u can changed.
the last part of the lik:
XXXXX.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=updated
to
XXXXX.blogspot.com/feeds/posts/default?orderby=published
