now my lab is planning to buy new server to run numerical analysis on Cooling tower.
at present, it is need 1.5GB RAM to run one model.
but as we want to make the model much more detailer, we need about 9 time bigger memory .
so we actually need at least 16GB RAM.
but as i search about Motherboard , i found one with 16 slots for memory .so mean we can make a machine with 32GB RAM ( max 64GB ) with no higher than 300 thousand Japanese YEN.

i thought with no higher than 3000 yen hehe ;-) but it's 30 000.
haha i got one digit wrong.
the total price must be 300thousands.
( 32GB Memory + Motherboard + PC case + 2 Xeon 2.5GHz CPU + Drive +..).
if we buy the Barbon PC(partly assembled= motherboard and PCcase is a assembled) with the same spec to listed , it cost 600thousands.
and if we buy original server from welknown maker, it might cost round 5000thousands. heheh.
Heh, look at the title again, it is not 32MB right?
Anyway, 32GB of memory...hum big...
right. it must be 32GB hahah.
no idea about server. so its 30 man dane. 32Gb, too big i like to have one too ;-P
haha if u do not use big model for analysis , no need to buy it :D
