Tear Drop Curve

Recently m doing analysis on Tear Drop church.
it is quite complicated when i first saw the shape of the building.
but actually there is a curve function for tear drop.



Tears, tears...
The curve is a generalization of the quartic piriform: this is the curve that results when the parameter n has the value 3.
 
Some special cases:

• n=1: the circle
• n=2: the Tschirnhausen's cubic
  
  Sometimes the teardrop curve is given in a parametric equation as:
  
  
  A further generalization of the curve is given by the pearls of Sluze.

Olympic 2008

Today the Beijing Olympic started.
it is a bit poor to hear that there are only 3 khmer athlets joined in the game.
for Japanese there are hundred of players, and on the first day Tani Kyoko won the blonze medal , which is the first medal among japanese player for this 2008 Olympic.

No network no Electricity

From last Friday my school went on holiday.
my lab shutdown super-server and all network on Friday.
and there will be no electricity from 11th to 12th for the whole school and dormitories.

for me my super-server is not down jet, but as the network down i can't see the status of my computing unless i go directly to server room.
that's abit hard now cos some one has taken the key for server room out of laboratory.

anyways, i'll have meeting with my supervisor and Mr Nakata and ther others on 11th to talk about how to mesh the Chapel ( of I-M Pei ) which is now putting on subject of analysing.that's why i have to work abit more on it even there is no network connection in my own lab.

OpenVPN for Vista 64bits

For some how, OpenVPN doesn't jet provided download for product of Vista 64bits.
here is a download of Surf Bouncer ( include OpenVPN for Vista 64bits).
If you are using Windows Vista 32 or 64, please use one of the following installation files:

Windows Vista 32       Windows Vista 64

IMPORTANT: Run this installation as administrator (see the Vista setup page for additional details).
Accept all the default settings and the TAP driver installation message.
NOTE: The openVPN GUI does not automatically load as it does for the Windows XP version. This is to allow the user to be able to right click and launch the program as administrator. Once this is done, the GUI icon will appear in the system tray as it does for the Windows XP version. Unless you have disabled the UAC as described on the Vista setup page, always right click and "Run as Administrator" when you launch the application.


On Windows Vista, you will need to run the OpenVPN installer with administrator privileges so that it can properly install the TAP driver which makes the VPN work. Right click on the installer that you downloaded and select "Run as administrator".

After installing, you will have to launch the OpenVPN GUI application by "Running as administrator". This permission allows OpenVPN to add routes to the routing tables that are pulled from the Surf Bouncer server.
You can do this by right-clicking on the OpenVPN GUI icon, and selecting "Run as administrator". You can bypass this requirement by disabling the UAC .

TUT-Open Campus

Today is the Open Campus of my Uni.
there were not so many students paticipated, but there are many objects shown by laboratories.
the most attractive is the objectt by Robocon Group.
as TUT is the champion of all japan Robocon this year, many Campus paticipators interested in the Robot.

As too many people come to campus, it made me hard to have lunch in Canteen.
it is the worst ( hehehe :D )

Sudden Squall

Today in the morning, there were a sudden squall.
at the time, there was a weather broadcasting on tv. fortunately the weather caster said that in my region is sunny.

to my surprise, just about 10mn the water in the drain become full and over flown every where.
it was a sudden happenning.

as what was told by weather caster, it became sunny in about 40mn.
and the water over flown also run out incredibly.
